Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of Japan Esophageal Society as the Congress President, I am very honored and privileged to welcome you all members of Japan Esophageal Society, esophageal surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, endoscopists, pathologists, and co-medicals, who are interested in treating esophageal disorders, to the 67th annual meeting of the Japan Esophageal Society will be held at 13th and 14th June 2013 in Osaka.
The theme of the congress is “Challenge for the future” and what can we dare to do today for tomorrow. We are still on the way of inquiring into the etiology and treatment strategy of disorders of the esophagus. We should focus on what we can do now for challenging for the future in these issues. In the clinical aspect, esophageal field requires the help of co-medicals, such as NST, ICT, ICU, HCU, rehabilitation, and even oral care. The presentation by co-medicals is very welcome.
The official language is Japanese, however we will welcome English presentation by foreign colleagues.

We will also have time to enjoy ourselves, refresh and strengthen friendship and start new relationships with colleagues in a City where we call “Nanaiwa” traditionally.

We wish you enjoy the scientific program of the congress, meeting up friends, making new friends and staying Osaka.

Congress president
